If you wish, for example, to have two or more portraits drawn on the same sheet, then the price will be in accordance with the size of each portrait, not the size of the sheet I am drawing on. PENCIL

• The first stage in the wildlife commission process after initial contact is to decide on a composition, or general idea of what you would like me to draw. My wildlife pencil drawings are very detailed, & to achieve this I work from photos, which need to be of a high quality standard.
• Many customers already have a composition or image in mind & like to provide their own photos when commissioning a wildlife piece – & this is encouraged. Please just note I have to be specific about what I can & cannot work from in order to produce the detailed piece you are commissioning.
• I do also have a large collection of my own photos from my travels which I can use as reference, or there is also the option of my contacting certain photographers I am associated with for permission to use their photos should we need to look further. 
• I work in a number of sizes to suit your requirements. Please see below for a basic framework of costs.

OIL PAINTS / PASTELS

PASTEL SKETCHES

• Similar to oil paintings these commissions require less need for high quality photos to work from :). Please feel free to provide your own photos as reference, or again I can search my own collection.
• I work with a select few animals for these sketches – mainly Elephants, Rhino, Giraffe & Orangutan. Please email me to see whether a particular animal can be sketched.
• Choice of colour pastels available.
• I again ask for a 40% deposit before I make a start. The remaining balance can be paid at the end.
• When your sketch is complete, I will send a final update for to approve. If alterations are necessary at any stage I will make the adjustments & send further proofs until we get the sketch as you like it.

The ideal gift for a newborn baby or Godchild, I can create a bespoke illustrative art piece corresponding animals of your choice with the little ones initials or letters. Using watercolour, I decoratively entwine these animals around each according letter creating a timeless art piece unique to you. Both first names & the little one’s initials are a popular request with these commissions. 

I can also match animals to any letter for any ages and occasions, so if you are an animal lover and have a word, sentence, acronym or phrase in mind then get in touch and we can discuss ideas.
